Abstract:

This paper discusses the process of determining the magnitude of external force such as wind and wave pressure exerted on marine structures under construction, and the learning curve of on-sea pile-driving work. The project was the construction of landing pier to be used for rigging, dismantling, mooring and as a breakwater. The pier was built at a site subjected directly to ocean waves.
