Abstract:

This paper presents a model describing the flow field for the inter-rill component of agricultural runoff. Given rainfall intensity, surface roughness, rill spacing, and longitudinal and transverse surface slopes, the model can be used to determine water depth, longitudinal and transverse velocity components, and length of overland flow.
