Abstract: This Compendium of International Ocean Energy Activites has been designed as a resource directory of ocean energy projects in the United States and abroad. Included are descriptions of research and development activities in four energy conversion technology areas; ocean thermal energy conversion; wave energy conversion; tidal energy conversion; and current energy conversion. Each entry provides the name and address of the principle contact person; the location of the project, its stage of development, and its status. The Compendium enables one to track the state-of-the-technology for ocean energy and its development worldwide.
