Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Sediment Transport Modeling

Abstract:

A description is given of a newly-developed coastal sediment transport model. Features of the model are the inclusion of cross-shore transport and non-potential suspended load, the latter rendering the model suitable for problems involving a partly mobile bed or fine sediment. Also described are the results of a verification test based on a field situation.
