Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Design of Urban Runoff Quality Controls

Abstract:

The Water Quality Act has provided the Environmental Protection Agency with the framework for developing a comprehensive storm water management program. The initial phases of the program include the development of application requirements and deadlines for storm water discharges associated with industrial activity and discharges from large and medium municipal separate storm sewer systems. The notice of proposed rulemaking will present EPA's proposed control program and will solicit public comments on many important issues. The success of the final rule depends in part on thorough public reviews of the proposal and constructive public comments.
