A Preliminary Study on the Comprehensive Exploitation of Coast Zone Resources in the Southern Fujian

Abstract:

The Pacific tidal wave intrudes the South China Sea through the Bass Strait and travels northward as an 'upgoing wave' to Taiwan Strait affecting the Southern Fujian coastal zone. The coastal wave is strongly related to the wind directions. The direction of frequent wave is on the north side and the strong wave southeast or south-southwest. In the winter, the predominent northeast wind makes main wave northeast, but in the summer, the predominent southwind makes the main wave south-southeast or south-southwest.
