| Abstract: |
To further improve the performance of fiber asphalt chip seal, the factors influencing the performance were studied. By varying the fiber, gravel, and modified emulsified asphalt, the specimens were made; the shear test and clean test were specially designed to test the performance of fiber asphalt chip seal; the indoor test index were proposed that the shear strength should be greater than 0.2MPa, the stone removal rate should be less than 5.3%. The results showed that when the optimum amount of modified emulsified asphalt was 1.9kg/ m2, the optimum amount of fiber was 75g/ m2, the optimum amount of gravel was 7kg/ m2, the performance of fiber asphalt chip seal were the best to meet Indoor Test Evaluation. |
