Abstract: Stopping high-speed train is unfavorable to the line carrying capacity. Be premised on the certain stopping times and dwell time, the stopping high-speed train subtraction coefficient depends on the distribution of train diagram, that is, the train diagram structure. This paper introduces the methods of probability theory to quantify the diagram structure, then, calculated for the probability of each kind of the train diagram structure and the according train subtraction coefficient. After that, the paper calculated for stopping high-speed train subtraction coefficient with the weighted average, obtained the stopping high-speed train maximal, average, subtraction coefficient on the condition of a certain dwell time and the proportion of stopping high-speed train.
