Abstract: In order to grasp the Situation of the coordinated development between urban comprehensive traffic system and economic system, this paper establishes evaluation system of their coordinated development, and constructs evaluation model of their coordinated development based on the methods of Principal Component and Fuzzy Mathematics. Then, the evaluation model is verified by the actual data of comprehensive traffic system and economic system of Shenyang City in 1980-2008, which shows that the evaluation method is feasible. The results show that: The evolution of relationship between comprehensive traffic system and economic system in Shenyang is divided into three phases: (1)comprehensive traffic lagged behind economic development before the 1980s; (2)Early 80s to 2005, coordination-level between urban comprehensive traffic system and economic system was increasing by adding the input of comprehensive traffic; (3)the coordination-level decreased since 2006. Based on the above analysis, this paper promotes some policy suggestion for the coordinated development of comprehensive traffic system and economic system in Shenyang.
