Abstract: In this paper basic problems are considered of developing the entropy-probabilistic approach for solving problems of assessing the safety of interdependent CI. This approach allows overcoming the problem of heterogeneity of source data, as all physical parameters of various engineering problems are brought down to one dimensionless measure — the system entropy.
