Abstract:

This is believed to be the first book to be compiled and published on this subject, even though the steel liner is now the most widely used in fossil-fueled electric generating stations in the United States and Canada. Compiled by the Task Committee on Steel Chimney Liners, Fossil Power Committee, ASCE Power Division, this report describes previous problems and proposes guidelines for conceptual and structural design of future projects.
