Abstract: Monitoring of ship pipeline leakage detecting is one of the most important techniques to be developed as it can help to prevent damages of ship working safe. In this paper, wavelet transform is used as a tool, to characterize the real time pipeline flow signal during ship working. Firstly, we use the Mallat algorithms to get the standard wavelet transform result from the pipeline flow signal. During the detection period, we get the real time wavelet transform result on certain level through the real time wavelet algorithms. The real time wavelet results of both sides were examined by the correlation to its normal result. According to the magnitude of the correlation factors, we can make sure whether the normally. The results of simulation show that the selected monitoring indices from the wavelet coefficients are capable of detecting in the ship pipeline leakage effectively.
