| Abstract: |
The intelligent vibration compactor is the current developing direction in the field of road compaction. In order to resolve the problem of the single vibration mode that cannot truly explain the dynamic characteristics during compacting, this paper first puts forward the model with adjustable vibration modes. Taking the YZC12 compactor as an example, the authors analyze dynamic characteristics of the interaction between roller and soil in different vibration modes. From the simulation results, we find the fact that the dynamic characteristics of system are greatly influenced when the vibration modes are different and the density of soil changes during compaction. This will help the compactor choose the vibration mode appropriately and make the intelligent compaction become feasible and effective, which provided a good foundation for the research and development of intelligent compaction technology. |
