| Abstract: |
Making use of arrival and departure station tracks is a key problem afflicting passenger transportation at railway stations. In this paper, a scheduling model of utilization scheme is created for railway station tracks. It is set up by analyzing the characteristics of the tracks, features of train occupation time span and other factors that have an effect on the utilization scheme. Since creating a utilization schema for railway passenger station tracks has proven to be a difficult problem, a heuristic algorithm is proposed to create a satisfactory solution. By using the model and algorithm presented in this paper, a solution is obtained that enhances the management technology of transportation and improves the level of automatization for train operations. Studies based on the actual data of a certain railway passenger station combined with the optimization model are used to create a utilization scheme for station tracks. Results from this study imply that optimization occurs. |
