Abstract:

Exterior Diagonal Systems that carry both gravity and lateral loads in building structures � known as exodiagonals or diagrids � are increasingly being used worldwide to provide freedom of form in structural support, improved efficiency, and the redundancy necessary to help prevent progressive collapse.
