Innovations in Grouting and Soil Improvement |
| Abstract: |
The process of grouting is fraught with uncertainties and is affected by a large number of variables. This paper presents an approach to categorizing uncertainties to mitigate potential risks in the design and performance of limited mobility grouting. Issues addressed will include appropriate site characterization as well as measures to validate conditions expected through the grouting process. Also to be addressed, are necessary grout monitoring measures to verify the design and provide a measure of grouting performance. |
