| Abstract: |
The evaluation of design waves for coastal protection structures in Wadden Sea areas can be improved essentially by applying advanced mathematical wave models like the third-generation SWAN. Nevertheless the analysis of directional spectra in shallow environment shoes the demand for further development in areas with complex morphology. |
