| Abstract: |
Satellites are relay stations used to link ground transmitters and receivers. Commercial communication satellites that provides television distribution, long distance telephone transmission, private business networks, and fax service are becoming increasingly important and profitable industries. While wired transmissions may be less irritating because there is no delay in receiving, satellite transmissions are more convenient for long distance communications. NASA should spend more of their funding on the development and usage of satellites. |
