Abstract:

The solutions to the end-of-chapter exercises of Fluid Mechanics: An Interactive Text are contained in this manual. These solutions are meant to provide a guide for faculty using the textbook to teach introductory courses in fluid mechanics to students in aerospace, chemical, civil and environmental, or mechanical engineering. The solutions to many of the numerical exercises are made much easier by the availability of the numerous computational utilities of the electronic book. Indeed, some are impractical without electronic computation and should not be assigned if the students do not have access to the electronic book.
