Abstract:

The ASCE Task Sub-Committee on 3D Free Surface Flow Model Veri fications has been developing test cases and/or procedures for both computational model developers and users over the past four years. These test cases/procedures are based on analytic methods, laboratory measurements and field data. This paper presents one of such test cases based on laboratory measurements. It includes not only the description of the test case, but also an example of actual test of a selected computational model with results and conclusions.
