Abstract: Modifications to the Anaheim Bay, California, Harbor complex have been proposed to enable larger ships to access the existing wharf for direct loading of ordnance. In addition, new deepwater berths seaward of the existing harbor are proposed. A three-dimensional physical hydraulic model was designed, constructed, and tested to evaluate the conceptual design of phased expansion of the harbor facilities at Anaheim Bay. The investigation was conducted at the U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station's Coastal Engineering Research Center, Vicksburg, Mississippi, and was sponsored by U.S. Navy, Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, California.
