Abstract: In order to obtain influence law of beam-end lateral expansion of steel truss girder on stability of CWR track, finite element method was used to establish the mechanical model of lateral expansion and bending of CWR track, and corresponding formula was deduced and computation program was developed. The model was used for studying on stability of CWR track under the action of temperature force taking posterior track alignment after beam-end having relative expansion to subgrade as initial bending. The results indicate that beam-end lateral expansion of steel truss girder has significant influence on the stability of CWR track, and to prevent the buckling of CWR track at beam-end some measures should be taken such as optimizing bridge structure and bearing arrangement.
