Design of Steel Transmission Towers Standards Committee
Part of: Design of Latticed Steel Transmission Structures
Abstract: This Standard applies to latticed steel transmission structures. These structures shall be either self-supporting or guyed. They consist of hot-rolled or cold-formed prismatic members connected by bolts. Structure components (members, connections, guys) are selected to resist design-factored loads at stresses approaching failure in yielding, buckling, fracture, or any other specified limiting condition.
