Abstract:

Highlights from the Geo-Wall Competition at the 2012 Geo-Congress. Teams from 17 universities competed to construct a model mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall out of craft paper and poster board facing. It had to resist 50 lbs of vertical load and a lateral load simulating bridge foundation loading.
