Abstract: Method of successive approximation for rigid frames whose joints are not points or infinitely small areas, but areas of limited dimensions, which at analysis of rigid frame, are taken as solid areas suffering no deformation; equations for analysis in one stage or two stages, constituting generalized form of method of approximation.
