Abstract: This report summarizes the evaluation of the Con-Arch culvert system marketed by Hunter Contracting, Co. of Tucson, Arizona. The evaluation consisted of computer analysis and field testing of two Con-Arch structures: 1) the "Standard" design that is placed by the shotcrete method and has reinforcement only near the inner face of the arch, and 2) a "Special" design that is placed by typical wet cast concrete procedures and has reinforcement near both the inner and outer surfaces.
