Abstract:

ASCE Guide to History and Heritage Programs was prepared by the Committee on the History and Heritage of American Civil Engineering (CHHACE) with the objectives of promoting a better understanding of the history and heritage of American civil engineering and of assisting in the collection and preservation of information pertaining to its development. It is intended primarily for use by the History and Heritage Committees of ASCE Sections but should be helpful to others who are interested in developing programs concerned with engineering history and heritage.
