Abstract:

A managed groundwater recharge project was begun in the Fall 1996 at the Tamarack Ranch State Wildlife Area (SWA) owned by the Colorado Division of Wildlife near Crook in northeast Colorado. This project is being developed by the South Platte Lower River Group, Inc., a coalition of Colorado water user groups and Colorado State agencies. Funding for these efforts have come from participant contributions and state and federal grants.
