Abstract:

To compete with the gambling meccas of Las Vegas and Atlantic City, New Orleans recently took a gamble by erecting the world's largest casino building. With the structure 70% complete, the owner filed for bankruptcy. Until it is bought or falls into receivership, the complex structure stands an incomplete pleasure dome.
