Abstract:

The Simplified Audit Process (SAP) is presently tested in a roofing tar paper speciality product manufacturer in Joliette, Quebec. The steps involved in the process had helped the company to implement a comprehensive environmental management strategy and preliminary results indicate an overall improvement of productivity and environmental performances. Implementation is still in progress and further results look promising.
