Abstract:

Data on cyclonic storm surge height have been generated with the help of a statistical simulation model. Data on observed maximum cyclonic wind speed and the length of the continental shelf are the principal input in this methodology. Design surge heights of various return periods have been obtained for coastal regions of Bangladesh by analyzing the generated data.
