Abstract:

A great deal of information about an open channel flow is contained in the maximum velocity, which, along with the entropy parameter, can determine the mean velocity. Therefore, the maximum velocity is an important hydraulic parameter in studying open channel flows. In this paper, mathematical analysis and experimental data are used in modeling of maximum velocity.
