Abstract:

Optimum development and management of ground water resources requires consideration of all elements of the groundwater system and their inter-relations with total hydrologic cycle along with well technology. Ground water zoning needs to be planned to utilize different well technologies at different zones keeping in mind social, operational, environmental and other related issues.
