Abstract: This paper focuses on modeling and improving flow. It presents a computer-based system for planning and controlling construction material laydown and handling. This system, named MoveCapPlan; includes custom software that extends critical-path method planning and scheduling with an interactive graphical display to create layouts that change over time as construction progresses.
