Abstract:

The Constructability Task Force of the construction Industry Institute (CII) sponsored as series of studies which advocate construction expert input to the conceptual planning, engineering and procurement phases, as well as field operations, as the key to more efficient construction and achievement of overall project objectives. While past efforts have focused on the design phase, opportunities for collection and utilization of lessons learned exist in all phases of a facility life cycle.
