Abstract:

A regression model for peak runoff prediction from small rural watersheds was developed using the rainfall/runoff data collected from 43 watersheds in the front range of the State of Colorado. The model expands the rational method to include the considerations of basin slope, rainfall frequency, basin shape, land uses and soil types.
