Abstract:

A series of experiments were performed to evaluate the potential for generating oxygen from silica powder, alumina powder and a synthetic moon soil powder. A non-transferred arc plasma reactor was used for these experiments. Results of these experiments show that possibility of a potential reliable process for oxygen generation form moon soil based on plasma technology.
