Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to identify the methodology, evaluation criteria, criteria definitions for evaluating surface habitat configuration concepts for the Moon and Mars. The main focus of this criteria was for the Mars Study, however lunar commonality is addressed. Habitat designers will have a better understanding of the evaluation process and the criteria that their concepts will be judged by the Lunar / Mars Habitat Design Team at NASA.
