Abstract:

The project involved existing one-way slabs experiencing severe corrosion damage. The slabs were removed and replaced while salvaging the concrete beams and frame components. Significant repairs were required to isolated frame components within the structure such as beams, columns, walls and beam/column connections. The existing frame was salvaged and provided support for a new slab systems, which significantly extended the structure's service life.
