Abstract:

In this paper we presented a general vision of aquaculture development perspective, at a national and regional level; the present national policies on aquaculture, what they are what pretend to be; the Parques Acuicolas (local aquaculture developments) in Mexico, and the perspectives of the aquaculture like an optional economic activity to the development of the coastal zone.
