Abstract: The Coastal Data Information Program (CDIP) is a cooperative effort managed jointly by the U.S. Army Engineers, Waterways Experiment Station and the State of California, Department of Boating and Waterways. The program is conducted by the University of California, Scripps Institution of Oceanography for the purpose of collecting, analyzing and disseminating coastal environmental data, with an emphasis on nearshore wave climate.
