Abstract:

Researchers at the Purdue University have been involved in developing techniques for predicting the operational impacts created by one-way traffic control. These techniques estimate average vehicle delay as a function of specific conditions prevailing at the work site. The techniques, which can serve as assessment and/or decision-making tools, are briefly summarized in this paper.
