Abstract: The optimum software package for engineering network has adopted a coverage technology to facilitate an analysis of large-sized projects. This package has the following functions: (1) Network time optimization: (2) Balance optimization of limited construction period and various resources; (3) Shortest construction period in case of limited various resources; (4) Cost construction period optimization. In addition the package can meet specific construction requirements. For example concrete pouring is not allowed in a cold and freezing season; The construction investment distribution for each year is limited; the least labor possible should be arranged in holidays and festivals, the optimization calculation will output the curves of the requirements for steel, cement, labor, fund, fuel, wood etc. for each time interval (month, ten-day, day. It will also output the optimized time scale network diagrams and time parameters.
