Abstract:

This paper proposes a set of deterministic seismic design and evaluation criteria based upon a specified probabilistic seismic performance goal for High Level Waste Repository (HLWR) facilities. This paper amplifies upon and extends to HLWR facilities the seismic criteria presented in UCRL-15910 (Kennedy et al. 1990).
