Abstract:

London's underground is one of the world's largest heavy-rail underground systems. London underground Limited (LUL) is the main rapid transit operator in London, and is financed directly by the Central Government. As a company, it faces competition from buses, suburban rail services, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), commuter coaches and riverbus services, as well as from private transport.
