Abstract:

This proceedings, International Air Transport?A New International Airport, consists of papers presented at the 22nd International Air Transportation Conference held in Denver, Colorado from June 23-25, 1992. It covers such topics as: 1) techniques to improve airport capacity, 2) environmental issues, 3) pavement design and performance evaluation, and 4) landside issues. Case studies of new airports in the United States, Europe and the Far East are also presented. With airport design and construction continuing to be a challenge to civil engineers, this proceedings contributes to the sharing of knowledge necessary for the development of technical improvements.
