Abstract:

Two hydrologic aspects of droughts are investigated in this study as a part of the work conducted for the task committee on water management during droughts. In the first part a monthly water balance model was used to investigate the response of watersheds to climatic change. In the second part, a method of drought identification is investigated. The results from these models are presented and discussed.
