Abstract:

This paper demonstrates the fundamental aspects of the design an implementation of state-of-the-art groundwater monitoring system, using conventional design principles. Based on experiences in numerous groundwater monitoring projects, we were able to assess some of the factors influencing variations in groundwater quality and develop standard system design criteria. Attention is focused, through several case studies, on the assessment of well design criteria for groundwater quality analysis.
