Abstract:

The spatial coherency of ground motion from nine dense arrays are analyzed to examine the site-dependence of spatial coherency. The spatial coherencies computed for arrays located on alluvium are similar from array to array. The coherencies computed for arrays located on rock are lower than for arrays located on alluvium and show larger variability.
