Abstract:

In this paper a method for predicting seismic damage to water supply network is presented. By taking the breakage of the joints of the pipeline caused by seismic wave propagating as main damage mode, a probabilistic model of the seismic damage prediction to the water supply pipeline is developed, in which the seismic response and the seismic behaviour of deformation of the joints are taken as random variables. Then, the reliability of water supply network is presented by means of graphic theory and topological classification.
